Love is much too simple.
In our simple life, there is no such romantic love at the first sight as that in Chiungyao’s novels. And there exist no bittersweet love stories which are so heartbroken and tragic. In the physical world, we are acting as what we are-the common and mortal human beings. Now that we are mortal, we value love, which takes place naturally and simply.
Probably when we enter into old age during which we do not have to reminisce or regret about the past, all we need to do is to tightly hold each other, wordless and leisurely spending the rest of our life or even the next life. Then we will know the subtle but simple philosophy of life.
Warm words, an umbrella, a sweet smile, a tasty noodle, all are brimming of love, which is so pure and touching.
I will always appreciate thelove, which is not too exciting but flowing like a gurgling stream, and which is not full of solemn pledges of love or moon-lit dates but full of transparent communication and mutual understanding.
