UIUC ED的录取要求,我托福96,sat预估1800多,4门AP5分,GPA3.7,能升上UIUC ED商学院吗？

我两周前刚见过UIUC的admin director Mr Gregg Perry，以下是我获得的一些信息：

- 空档没有任何影响~

- IB学生录取情况我不清楚，不过你的IB成绩可以transfer credits

- 具体的EE数据我没有，但engineering的mean SAT score是1920-2150

- 在校成绩和社区活动都是需要的。而且如果你在澳洲读书的话，这些证明在你的高校都应该很standardized了。可以咨询下你的counselor

- BTW，UIUC今年的essay question已经出来了：
• Essay 1: In an essay of 300 words or less, please discuss your academic interests and/or your professional goals.
• Essay 2: In an essay of 300 words or less, choose one extracurricular activity, work experience, or community service project from the list you provided on the application and explain why you initially chose it, why you continued with it, and how you have benefited from it.

- No SAT subject test scores required
- Testimonials/letters of recommendation/other additional material not considered
- No interview required
- No deferring of enrollment
- No conditional offer
- Those with SAT critical reading score of >550 can comfortably waive their TOEFL. On the other hand, high TOEFL score may compensate for a relatively low SAT score.
- No financial aid awarded. However all applicatants, once admitted, are automatically considered for all scholarships and honor programs available (not many for international students though). Those accepted will be notified by March.
- double degree available after admission
- A level/IB students with good results can trasfer about 30 credit points. Many graduated in 3 yrs
- 3rd largest international population nationally（在校的undergrad中国学生超过一百人）

- Application Filing Period - Sep 1, 2009 - Jan 2, 2010
* Application must be postmarked by Jan 2. We need to receive all supporting documents (transcripts, test scores, essays) by Jan 12.

- Priority Filing Period （EA） - Sep 1 - Nov 1, 2009
* A complete application and all supporting documents must be postmarked or received by Nov 2.
